This book was SUPER! It had me rooting for the H/h the whole time! It was flirty, funny, realistic, and really sweet!! It's a book you really can't put down...You must finish one. More . Chapter...until you've devoured the whole thing. At least that's what happened to me!!Nothing but 4.5-fun, flirty**** from this bookista!!!
This is book is a stand-alone and there is no cheating.
Can you put two people together who don't know each other and 'make' sparks? TV shows do all the time, right? Reality TV that is, and that's sort of what this book explores as a college project. The blurb alone made me one-click so fast I thought my index finger would fall off! I'm one of the biggest Bachelor/Bachelorette fans out there!
" It’s London’s senior year and she only needs one class to graduate. She just didn’t expect her final assignment: fall in love.
Communication 224 has a reputation for giving out the most unique projects of the semester. When London James and Beau Anderson signed up for the class they had no idea they would be paired up together, much less spend an entire semester working on their final grade.
Professor Garcia tasks them to produce a study on the hit reality show, Love Match, a show about strangers falling in love on over the top dates. London and Beau decide to debunk the popular show’s fantasy portrayal of romance. Determined they can date the entire semester and not fall for each other, the classmates share blogs about their dates and start a website where everyone can follow their dating experiment. Resisting their growing attraction for one another is harder than they thought.
London is in for the toughest class of her college career. The headstrong and success-driven student discovers there might be more important things in life than an A. "

Doesn't that make you smile and think yummy thoughts? Me too and I already read it!!!
London James is extremely driven...did I say extremely driven? I mean one of those kids you knew who did everything they could to get what they needed to graduate with 4.0. She's hell-bent on becoming an actress in Hollywood and is good enough to be. Has been involved in Theater throughout a 4 years and has always had the lead roles. She's nothing short of amazing on stage. London needs must graduate with straight A's in order for her parents to foot the bill her first little while in LA. She can be so driven at times I wanted to shake my Kindle (as if it was her) and yell "WAKE UP, YOU!!!" But on the flip side, it was refreshing in a sense as well. London was so focused, she didn't have time for anyone's nonsense. It wasn't like she didn't have a sense of humor, she just didn't pull it out much.
"This whole dating scenario was fake, but the feelings bouncing around in my chest felt real. The opposite of what I wanted."
Beau Anderson...Beau, Beau, Beau. He's a fun guy my book people!! He writes a funny blog at UNC, where they attend, and he has written a senior bucket list. Things he wants to do before he graduates. We all have one, whether written or not and really? What an amazing college idea? Wish I thought of it!! Well played T.A. Foster! Well played!! Beau is a character who is charming, but he wears it on his sleeve. I remember thinking, I would expect him to do that. He's really one great catch. He's not a bad boy, doesn't fight, or is overly expressive with curse words. He's not over the top with flirting. (not that any of that bothers me in a book) But for Beau, it's all who he is. From the moment we meet him in the book-we somehow know it's him but don't know his name and it all fits as this is who he is.
When they come together on this project, I wasn't surprised as to whose idea it was...will you be? But from the moment they start 'fake' dating, as a reader it was obvious there was more underneath. But the way the author peeled it back for us layer by layer? That was the beauty! London begins to have some confusion about what's really happening in her head about Beau. Is this a great friendship, am I falling for him, is this just because of our dates? And Beau seemed to be getting just as invested, although this wasn't a dual POV book. He does want to fight for her at one point in the book. But the tables soon turn on London. This book made me smile, gasp, yell and swoon!! Books that evoke emotions are the very best kind!!! It was stupefying...I read this book with a stupid grin on my face. I felt like a best friend or parent rooting for them. They were the BEST people/characters ever and they deserved each other truly!!
"London, this project changed me. You changed me. I always talked a lot about living my dreams, but I wouldn't be doing it if I hadn't met you."

True love makes for a great read. This is the second of of T.A 's I have read and I just ordered another to start. Super great author!
Good read.
I enjoyed it!
London has been a girl with one ambition that has put blinders on her. During her final semester, she opens up and finds life has more than one interest for her. She learns new things about herself and finds love. Beau is tall, dark and handsome. He is also sweet, charming and a gentleman. This was a great read. Had me smiling and chuckling at the parallel to "The Bachelor". Roses and romance!!!
I just absolutely love every part of this book. It is funny and sweet and just perfect. I fell in love with the plot and all of the characters right away. I would recommend this book to any one who likes the teenage love story books. Amazing job and I look forward to reading more of T. A. Fosters books.
This story had so much promise but I found myself bored throughout. London just seemed so oblivious the whole time and also pretty self absorbed. I would have loved to read all the blogs from their dates as well, it would have pushed it to 3 stars for me. I couldn't understand what beau saw in London.
I liked that the premise of this book was unusual. Two college students try to prove that going on dates including in romantic settings does not lead to people in love. Of course they cannot because spending time together leads to them falling in love. The problem with the concept is that they were already attracted to each other to begin with. It is unlikely that two people will fall in love if they are not attracted to each other no matter how much one on one time they spend with each other and no matter how romantic the setting.
The characters were likable but immature. To me that was fine because they are college students. I liked the HEA ending.
